Semaglutide (GLP-1)
A prescription weight loss medication (painless weekly injection) that can help control your cravings, blood sugar regulation and controls appetite!
About Semaglutide (GLP-1)
How Does It Work?
Semaglutide works by slowing down stomach emptying and by suppressing appetite and food cravings. On average, most people consume 30% less! Semaglutide mimics GLP-1 (a Glucagon-Like Peptide-1) in the body. The body produces GLP-1 naturally when you eat, GLP-1 stops you from feeling hungry and makes you feel full or satisfied.
What to Expect
Once you book a GLP-1 Weight Loss appointment and complete your forms, Dr. Jason Chertoff, MD, Board Certified in Obesity Medicine, will review your information and will determine if you are a good candidate to receive GLP-1 injections. If approved, you will begin taking Semaglutide at your first appointment! This a weekly injection, that is painless!
